The Muggle and the Witch Chp.3The Muggle and the Witch
The Rebel Angel
The bruise on his left eye throbbed painfully the entire car ride. He didn't want to go to some boarding school that nobody cared about, he would rather go back to the United Kingdom, like he did every summer to be with his uncle. He hated his father and his so called family. The only person he loved was his Uncle Owen.
He slouched even deeper into the backseat, thinking of ways he could escape the hell that was his life. He thought up these plans more out of comfort then for purpose, seeing that he rarely followed through on them. He had come close a couple of times to escape, but each time he had only made it as far as the train or bus station before the cops or his father grabbed him and dragged him back home. The bruise his eye bore was the most recent result of one of the attempts.
Even now at the age of fifteen he knew what he was, an outsider. He knew he didn't belong with the high society crowd that his family came from. They a

Far From Home
Lily wanted to go back home the minute she stepped on the campus. No words could describe the absolute loathsomeness she held for the school and its students. Nothing was magical or even the least bit exciting. It was just a muggle boarding school, plain and boring. Growing up around magic was growing up around excitement and adventure. She found herself more then deprived of that at school, not too mention incredible loneliness.
All her life Lily was surrounded by people just like her and it didn't take her long to realize exactly how odd she was compared to the other students. The boys looked at her oddly as if they didn't know what to think of her. The girls looked at her with a mocking contempt, gossiped about her behind her back, and treated her as if she was mentally unstable.
Lily knew she looked odd. To get back at her grandfather for sending her to this hell-hole she cut her hair again, this time to model a boy's hairstyle and g

Innocence and Guilt
Her heart pounded in her chest severely as she ran. Blood pounded in her ears and hands as she raced through the forest and the maze of trees. She felt dizzy and her breath was labored, yet the fear that dominated her thoughts kept her running, to where she didn't know. She just knew that she had to get away. Get away to someplace safe, until her parents could come and find her when it was all over. She didn't want to think what would happen if they didn't come or why they couldn't.
She kept running and running, deep into the forest, not even caring that she had lost her friends and brothers somewhere along the way. She ran and ran until a large tree root that sat above the ground caught the toe of her boot and sent her towards the ground landing flat on her face. Regaining her composure, she sat on her knees. Her breath coming out in large heaves from exhaustion. With the back of her hand she wiped away the icy snow that stuck to

Lost and Found
"Katara look out!" shouted Aang.
Upon hearing these words Katara turned around to see a fireball heading straight toward her. She ducked and fell to the ground, feeling the heat from the blast whiz over her head. She soon heard Fire Nation troops close in on her. Instinctively she summoned water from the moist grass and used it to strike the Fire Nation soldiers closest to her. Seeing her chance she then hurried out of her position on the ground and bolted, trying to keep up with the rest of the group.
All four of them ran for what seemed like hours through the forest. They ran and ran and ran, until they no longer heard the pounding footsteps of soldiers behind them. When they reached a safe clearing they all collapsed onto the soft ground from exhaustion.
All of them had more then one reason to hate the recent turn of events. Ever since they had lost the invasion on the Day of Black Sun, they found themselves forced to continue to blend in w
The Reawakening PrologueThe Reawakening
It saddened the former Prince of the Fire Nation that the last thing he would see in his life was the darkness of his cell, and the last thing he would feel was the cold air that surrounded him.
He knew his minutes were numbered and in full honesty he wasn't ready to accept death. But then again the choice was not his own. It was his father's, his father that sentenced him to die by the drinking of the fatal poison.
It wasn't that long ago when the guards of his prison forced the bitter liquid down his throat and it wasn't long at all before pain engulfed his senses and the line between dreams and reality became a blur.
Before giving in to the surprisingly blissful darkness he remembered the guards cuffing his limbs down onto a wooden table that they had laid him on. So when his soul had passed his corpse would be laid out perfectly for the sages to prepare him for burial.
The final occurrence he witnessed before passing was the sight of an aged woman with long
